'Let's start to shine...'

Hello! I’m Anna Gilderson a dancer, choreographer and teacher. With a passion for encouraging, growing and releasing others to have fun, be who they are and use their creativity.
Dance and movement is at the heart of what I do. It’s an excellent form of communication that crosses boundaries and cultures and talks about things that people may find hard to. I try to cross some of those boundaries in the work that I do.
Living Colour Creative is about my desire to develop, share and expand the work I do with uC Grace and my daily life. There are so many times in life where we let things pass us by, rather than realising what’s there! We should be expectant for the things to come, expectant that God will move.
My biggest passion is combining my love for dance and movement with my love for faith, challenging people’s journey’s, encouraging them to draw closer to God.

Blessings and Faithfulness.

Blessings and Faithfulness.

Our outdoor dance workshop date, finally crept up on us, and last week a group of 8 of us met on Stoke Park Guildford to enjoy a dance worship session with a difference – it was outside in the elements! When I say elements that is what I really mean as in the 48 hours running up to the workshop we had hailstones, sunshine, thunderstorms and lots of rain, right up to an hour before. But God was good and the skies cleared for us to have a lovely time dancing outdoors.

Before we got stuck into exploring a dance we spent some time thinking about aspects in our life where we would really value blessings and where we needed to have a little more faith that God was in control (I’ll talk more on that in another post). Carrying on from there we listened to the song 10, 000 Reasons by Matt Redman and all learnt some very simple movements to the chorus which each person was then encouraged to make their own, the verses were then explored in groups before coming together at the end prior to some free worship.

We gradually lost the light as the session went on, hence why the film is quite dark, but what I find fascinating is the sky in the background still giving us the little bit of light that was needed.
