'Let's start to shine...'

Hello! I’m Anna Gilderson a dancer, choreographer and teacher. With a passion for encouraging, growing and releasing others to have fun, be who they are and use their creativity.
Dance and movement is at the heart of what I do. It’s an excellent form of communication that crosses boundaries and cultures and talks about things that people may find hard to. I try to cross some of those boundaries in the work that I do.
Living Colour Creative is about my desire to develop, share and expand the work I do with uC Grace and my daily life. There are so many times in life where we let things pass us by, rather than realising what’s there! We should be expectant for the things to come, expectant that God will move.
My biggest passion is combining my love for dance and movement with my love for faith, challenging people’s journey’s, encouraging them to draw closer to God.

Captivate Us

Friday's DancePosted by Anna Fri, October 25, 2013 19:39:42
I'm sorry I am a little behind on things this week, we have been busy beavering in the office trying to finish the schedule for next year and we are nearly there! It's very exciting what we have planned; full details will be revealed in due course, so keep watching this space! Here's just little thought for the day for the Friday Dance.

Captivate Us

Last week some of you may have seen on the Facebook page a YouTube video I posted, today I want to draw attention back to that dance. It's title 'Captivate Us' draws us into how our relationship is with God, how every bit of our being is draw closer to him, walk beside in and be involved with him.

Not only is the dancing and choreography stunning, but I really do find myself 'captivated' by it, if you listen to the words and what they are and see how they are reflected in the movements -

Captivate us Lord Jesus
Set our eyes on you
Devastate us with you presence

When I first realised that the song said 'devastate us' I thought, wow that's strong. But, it really does provoke a strong image in a mind, think about devastation, it takes over what's going on, it's everywhere, that's where all the focus goes. Do we let God 'devastate us with His presence'?

Just take 5 minutes and sit back and watch the dance and challenge yourself to be captivated more that usual in the week to come.
