Living Colour Creative

'Let's start to shine...'

Hello! I’m Anna Gilderson a dancer, choreographer and teacher. With a passion for encouraging, growing and releasing others to have fun, be who they are and use their creativity.
Dance and movement is at the heart of what I do. It’s an excellent form of communication that crosses boundaries and cultures and talks about things that people may find hard to. I try to cross some of those boundaries in the work that I do.
Living Colour Creative is about my desire to develop, share and expand the work I do with uC Grace and my daily life. There are so many times in life where we let things pass us by, rather than realising what’s there! We should be expectant for the things to come, expectant that God will move.
My biggest passion is combining my love for dance and movement with my love for faith, challenging people’s journey’s, encouraging them to draw closer to God.

If you wish to sign up for blog updates, please click here, you will receive an email to create a log in, once the login is created you will receive updates.

Exciting new site - Living Life Expectantly

What's New?Posted by Anna Sat, November 12, 2016 21:49:35
So it's taken awhile, but I'd like to share some news.

For the past couple of months I have been developing and working through some new ideas about my blog space, where I want it to go, how I can best communicate with you all and where my heart really is.

The result is that there is going to be a new blog space, Living Life Expectantly. It will still follow some of the themes that have been here but I hope to provide more focused content and be able to interact with you all more through it, as it is a better platform.

I would love for you to continue with me on the journey, so I'd like to invite you to head over to Living Life expectantly and fill in your name and email to make sure you receive the latest post info. If you want to comment on any post into the future you will need to scroll to the bottom of the page and in the right hand column there is the option to register.

This site will remain live, so all the information, teaching and dances can still be accessed.

Do hope that you will continue with me.
Look forward to seeing you over at Living Life Expectantly.

Anna :-)

On the Move...

What's New?Posted by Anna Tue, November 26, 2013 22:38:47

A little bit of news for you all… I’m on the Move…

Many of you will know I got married at the beginning of this year and moved to Watford, from which I continued to run uC Grace. Changes have occurred to the frequency of when things run to allow me to manage things in the best possible way, with most events migrating to run monthly or bi-monthly and will probably congregate all around the same time in the month. We are hoping that this will enable people to commit and get the most out of what is on offer. With this format in place, I am on the move again in December (!), this time to Shawbury, Shropshire for one year to support my husband whilst he undertakes a course for the RAF, after a year I will hopefully be back down south again. It is because of these changes that there has been a development of more of a team that runs uC Grace, to enable it to continue to function how God wants. It is through various people giving up their time to help lead and organise various things that uC Grace has been able to flourish. I would like to particularly thank the following people…

· Pam Hunt for stepping out to lead Blurred Edges, supporting Moving Rainbows, and helping with admin and prayer support.

· Hannah Luke for leading and assisting at our after school clubs and other children’s workshops.

· Hannah Cornick for giving up her time to come on board to learn about teaching at Onslow Dance Club.

· Lauren Cheetham for all her smiles and enthusiasm at holiday activities and stepping in with help, just when it’s needed.

· Emma Swinden for helping to secure a venue for one of our courses.

· Llyndyn Kapsalis and Caroline Hutchings for continuing support, guidance and encouragement.

2013 Highlights

Blurred Edges launched at GBC. Moving Rainbows workshops for children launched. Dance, Drama and Craft Camp. Performances and congregation involvement in churches. Year 6 leaders services led by Llyndyn Kapsalis. Community workshops for the youngest to the oldest. After school dance clubs. Living Colour SEED workshops. Amazing Grace course. Outrageous Grace summer intensive. Gruffalo Workshop and much much more…

Just like last year we are hoping to put together a short video celebrating the year and all that has gone on. So watch out for it in your emails or on the Facebook/ YouTube page.

We look forward to creating many more memories and testimonies next year (we’ll be turning 4!!).
